Samaritans in Cameroon receiving their counselor certifications
What is an International Satellite?
An International Satellite is a special partnership between a U.S.-based Satellite Leader and an in-country National Leader.
The idea began with our founder, Bettie Mitchell. As she started working with leaders in other countries, she saw that they needed more than just resources—they needed relationship. They needed someone to walk alongside them, encourage them, and support their vision to give back to their own communities. So Bettie invited U.S. Samaritans to step into that role—as partners, encouragers, and friends.
Good Samaritan Ministries has grown into a global ministry with centers in over 26 countries. While our mission of "Teach Nothing But The Kingdom of God" is at the heart of every center, many international centers look entirely unique depending on the needs in that country. We have many centers that focus on counseling services, others that provide job skills and income opportunities, and many more that focus on providing education to children and teens.
