Bethany Black

Bethany began her journey with the ministry at the age of nine years-old when her mother, Teresa Stroup, began attending trainings at the Beaverton Office. From there, Bethany took the training herself, graduating as a certified counselor in 2004, then again in 2017. Bethany is passionate about the work of Good Samaritan Ministries because she has a heart for helping people, especially children and young adults.

Bethany's role at the ministry keeps her using her creative juices partnered with her administrative skills. Bethany's background includes working as a Legal Assistant in a litigation law firm, Children and Youth director for a church in Ottawa, Canada, and she has spent extensive time in ministry in the past 18 years.
