Our Work Tells a Story
Good Samaritan Ministries is a 501(c) 3 Nonprofit organization that offers donation-based counseling, training, therapy groups, and volunteer opportunities to our local community.

3,600 one-on-one counseling sessions offered in our local center

Lay counselor training offered to empower local caring volunteers to walk alongside the hurting in their community.

Here is a snapshot of the services that we offer at our local Beaverton Headquarters:

Groups & Classes
We offer ten groups throughout the week including Anger Management, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Grief Group, Widows & Singles Connections Groups, Teen Group, Men's Group, Communications & Boundaries Class, Bible Teacher Training among others.
Individual Counseling
With more than thirty volunteer counselors on our team, we offer individual counseling for trauma, abuse, addictions, relationships etc. We also offer family counseling, teen and children counseling, and marriage counseling.
Counselor Training
In order to meet the ever-growing demand for mental health care, we offer a certificate course in counseling to people from all walks of life. We never charge for our course. Our trainers and counselors are supervised by licensed professionals in the field.
Our Gala Theme
Restoring Broken Foundations
Every year we prayerfully consider what God is doing in the lives of our counselors, staff, clients, and community. This year, God spoke to us about restoring the foundations in our client's lives - foundations of their home, their families, their childhood, etc. As an attendee at our gala, we want to invite you to join us in building up our communities through restoring the broken foundations in our client's lives.
